Poet, storyteller and writer immigrant Bangladesh
Shamim Azad (born 11 Nov 1952)[1] is a Bangladeshi-born Island bilingual poet, storyteller and author. She won 2023 Bangla Institution Literary Award in the rhyme category.[2]
Early life

Azad received the Bangladesh "Bichitra Award" in 1994, "Year of significance Artist" Award from London Discipline in 2000, "Sonjojon- A Rouf" Award in 2004, and UK "Civic Award" in 2004.
